Stowby — Terms of Service
Welcome to Stowby. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Stowby.
In these terms, "Stowby", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operators of the Stowby app. Reach us at support@stowby.app.
What Stowby is
Stowby is a personal app for saving photos, files, links, and notes and finding them later by searching in plain language. It's a tool to help you remember where your things and documents are.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for the activity that happens under your Stowby account. Stowby is for your personal use.
Your content
- You own what you save. We don't claim ownership of your photos, files, links, or notes.
- You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you — for example, to index it so you can search it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- You are responsible for what you save. Don't use Stowby to store content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to keep.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or others' rights while using Stowby;
- attempt to access other users' data, probe or breach the service's security, or disrupt its operation;
- abuse the service through automated means or in ways that place an unreasonable load on it.
Service availability
Stowby is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we don't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stowby and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
Ending your use
You can stop using Stowby and delete your account and all your data at any time (in the app: My stuff → Account → Delete account, or email us). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
